KORT is home to over 350 orphan children providing food, shelter, clothing, medical care and education at our purpose-built home for orphans in Akhtarabad, Mirpur, Azad Kashmir.

Qurbani 2019 – Udhiyah 1440

Donate your qurbani to the poor & needy of Azad Kashmir.

Once again, we shall be performing our Qurbani program at KORT during Eid al-Adha 2019 where your Qurbani will be carried out personally according to Shariah Law and the meat to be distributed personally amongst the poor & needy.

Cost:

£525 for 7 shares (1 Cow) / £75 per share

The cut-off date for our Qurbani appeal is 25th July 2019 5pm UK time so please confirm your Qurbanis before this date

You can donate £1,000 Sadaqah to KORT which will be used on the day to day running of the complex. In return we will place a memorable tile on a dedicated wall at our complex in your’s or a loved one’s name and city.

Sponsor towards an orphan

KORT is home to over 350 orphan children providing food, accommodation, clothing, medical care and education at our purpose-built home for orphans in Akhtarabad, Mirpur, Azad Kashmir. 

You can sponsor towards an orphan at £35 per month to contribute towards these costs.

We will send you a profile of the child who you will be sponsoring towards and also send you an Annual Report for the child once a year.

Al-Bukhari narrated that Prophet Muhammad (peace and blessings be upon him) said: “I and the custodian of an orphan are like this (together) in Paradise”, and he joined his forefinger and middle finger together.”

Donate a Wheelchair for £50

There are hundreds of disabled people from poor & needy families in Mirpur and surrounding areas who can’t afford to buy a wheelchair! This causes massive strain on family members and carers to care for them and to keep them involved in daily activities. You can ease this burden by donating a wheelchair for £50 which we will provide to the needy and disabled.

Charity Running Costs

Our admin costs are covered by Gift Aid that we receive from HMRC following donations made to KORT.

You can also help us become more efficient by contributing towards other running costs. Please select ‘Donate towards charity running costs’ in the drop down menu on the donate page.

Boost your donation by 25p of Gift Aid for every £1 you donate.

Our admin costs are covered by Gift Aid that we receive from HMRC following donations made to KORT.

Gift Aid is reclaimed by the charity from the tax you pay for the current tax year.
