EARTHQUAKE STRIKES MIRPUR, AZAD JAMMU AND KASHMIR
A 5.8-magnitude earthquake struck the region of Mirpur, Azad Jammu and Kashmir on Tuesday 24th September 2019. So far 38 people have lost their lives and over 500 people have been injured. Over 500 homes have become uninhabitable and roads leading to villages outside the main city have been destroyed leaving hundreds of people stranded and unable to access food and water.
